This four-day workshop will include dynamic asana (physical practice), chanting, pranayama (breathing practice) and meditation, as well as having time for Q and A and lecture discussion sessions lead by Sharon and David. Each session will be 2 – 3 hours in length and will focus on a different aspect of yogic spirituality, asana, pranayama and philosophy that will lead to the goal of ever-lasting happiness and enlightenment. These workshops will open up your yoga practice, your mind and your world!

Lake Ainsworth Recreation Centre (pictured right) is nestled between the Tea Tree Lake of Lake Ainsworth and the beach on acres of dedicated bushland and recreational facilities, including a swimming pool, large new yoga hall and dining hall. This will be the perfect environment for a lively and inspiring weekend.
This retreat will give you a chance to spend time with like-minded souls, in yoga this is called a satsanga and is seen as an important part of spiritual practice. The accommodation is simple and consists of large lodges with bunk beds in the rooms. These will be allocated on a first come best dressed basis, so if you would like to share with friends make sure you arrive with a time to spare, you are able to arrive from 4pm onwards. We invite you to arrive in time for a lavish vegan/vegetarian dinner at 6pm, followed by a meditation session lead by Katie Manitsas (Advanced Jivamukti teacher and director of Samadhi Yoga)
All day Saturday will be spent with our very special guests Sharon and David who will lead us in a day of dynamic asana (physical practice), chanting, pranayama (breathing practice) and meditation. Saturday night will be a night of ecstatic chanting with special guests to be announced, accompanied by the Samadhi Jivamukti faculty.
Sunday morning will be an asana (physical practice) led by Katie Manitsas followed by a lovely vegan lunch. You are then free to have an afternoon swim in the ocean and then trundle back home!
Sharon Gannon and David Life are living embodiments of the Yoga Sutra II 46 – ‘The connection to the earth should be steady and joyful’. This relates o both your asana practice and to your connection to the planet we live on and that supports us. We are working to make Sharon and David’s trip to Australia as environmentally friendly as possible. We encourage you to take your yoga practice off the mat and to consider the environment both before, during and after your time with Sharon and David.
